I have an assortment of gear from alpinestars,Fox, Troy Lee Designs, ocelot, thor etc.....

Lets not be to down on the people that support motorcycles and to be honest someone will always wear something popular to be apart of it in some way.
Oh no don't get me wrong, support the riders as much as you can but don't be a pretender. If you wear the gear you beter be able to ride that's all i'm sayin. I think fox is by far one of my favorites but i hate to see people wear fox or any riders gear for that matter and talk and walk like they can ride harder than me. :YEAH

As long as you know what the hell you're talking about you're pretty much set. I just can't stand the people that try to know what the hell they talking about, same thing in paintball but you got posers playing paintball and still don't got a clue.

Re: posers and fox

I feel the same way. It doesn't really matter to me that if they can't really ride well or really don't know as much as I do, just as long as they don't try to. If they don't **** off to me or make up a bunch of BS I don't really care.

Re: posers and fox

I like fleshgear but I usually wear whatever I like.

It's funny how everyone dresses like a skater or wears A stars and Fox but none of them skate or ride. As long as they just flood the stores buying the clothes and not the trails makin people crash Im fine.

Don't complain about it til it affects the actual riders.

It's okay. I skate (board) hardcore and I don't even wear DC's. I am rocking some DVS shoes though. Let me see, I have a DGK hat, DVS shoes and one Zero shirt. I am one of the better skaters in town. I have three Thor hoodies, and I am wearing a long sleeve Thor shirt as I type. I don't consider myself a hardcore rider, but I generally know what I am talking about. I have a fiddy, and will be getting a straight up dirtbike soon. I can ride quite good. Some of my old friends would be jumping some **** (BMX) and we were younger so this "big" gap was about 5 - 6 feet and my friend said "I could do it with a dirtbike, I did a 40 foot gap with a dirtbike". If they were weaing Fox, or Thor I probably would've killed 'em. You'd tell these guy "can you even shift" and they'd say "all dirtbikes are automatic" and proceed to make fun of how "little" you know about dirtbikes. Well, I kinda rambled a bit. Chances are I also said some stuff that made someone get pissed off. I guess what I am trying to say is; you can be one of the best skateboarders (or riders) and rock a $7 Zellers shirt. Yet some of the worst skateboarders (or riders) and have the most sport - related apparell (sp) yet it doesn't change your actual personality. My

Re: posers and fox

ya fox is def main stream clothing...has been for a while now, and alpinestars is becoming that too. If you wanna be independent and not follow the main stream, theres plenty of other brands that make dirtbike gear, i like the new AlloyMX gear and shift is pretty tight too.

Re: posers and fox

nobody is selling out they just want to make money like every other company..but I do think its funny that all these people wear alpinestar and fox cause they can buy it at the mall but they have no clue what it is or ever ever rode before..
