Which four stroke (not racing)
I'm looking to sell my 2004 Yamaha Warrior and get a four-stroke liquid cooled bike. For the trail, little jumps, and little wheelies.
I want to go used so I was wondering which bike/year to stay away from or which do you think is one of the greatest.
250cc, 400cc, 426cc, 450cc
Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki whatever give me some info.

well if it was me i would get the honda crf450r but you say you want to do trail riding i would get the honda crf450x the only disadvantage to that is it has electric start.

I was looking at a 2002 Yamaha YZ250F with some extras. 33hp compared to my 18hp tank of a Yamaha Warrior, so I don't really need a 450. (unless the price is right)

Also look at the Honda 250X, its a mix between a MX bike and a trail bike, seems like what your looking for, the only downside is that its kind of expensive.

Don;t ge ta 4 stroke, valves every 20 hours and new topends every 100. Every other topedn you need a new head because teh vavlee seats have to be recut and that can only happen once. So your looking at a 700$+ topend (including valves and stuff). For trails and small jumps there is no better bike than a kdx200. They are much better than the 220 (bad porting and timing). They can rev higher and with a little extra cash you can make the 200 have just as much low end as that 250f. They are probably the best bieks out there, and if you want to take it to the track it will work extreamly well.

Dude I don't mean to be rude but **** a KDX. That **** is garbage. My rm 125 would smoke that thing anywhere. I also have a 04 crf 250 and that bike or the 02 yz250f would be a great bike for what your looking for!

but that wr400 has a kickstand :-P , you don't have to mix the gas, the tank is bigger for trail riding, it has one more gear, the gear ratio is wider for trail and 2 strokes are to loud.
