twin air air filter, pro circuit pipe and silencer, then get a v force mototesanari (sp) reed valve, make sure you rejett the carb after pipe and reed valve, then have the heads ported polished with racing piston for use with race fuel and higher compression. be more than youll ever need.

you aren't gonna get any bottom end from a 2-stroke. Reed valve will give you better throttle response and a bigger/smaller sprocket will change the feel alot.

You don't look like you weigh too much sooo....just pin it and go, stay a gear lower than you think you need to be, if you stay in the pb that ***** will haul.

here is the secret to keeping your bike going fast when its hard...use th clutch.....to keep the rpms on the pipe....translation.....feather the clutch to keep it in the power band....its hard at first but when you get used to it....it will make you way faster.

Did you look into porting? That will definetly improve your power plus its not really expensive, you could prob get it done for about $350

Re: tips to make my cr250 faseter

ive got a 96 cr 250 with just pipe silencer and rejetted carbs and its more than ill ever need. ive seen pro riders get out there and kill people on stock bikes plenty of times. might want to put that money into suspension. will help you become a lot better. a 500 will never help you on a supercross track or motocross track. maybe in the desert.

By a Service Honda af500 (it is the name of a shop in Hammond Indiana, and is world reknown) . It is a cr250 chassis with a cr500 motor. You can't f)ck with that. Google on it.

Re: tips to make my cr250 faseter

don't get a cr500, if you are serious about racing run your bike bone stock exept for suspension mods, I am telling you that is the way to go, that way you learn how to ride the bike better and get a feel for it,you would be suprised how much faster you get by the way you position your body and learn to work every ounce of power out of your motor. pipes and cylinders are great if you are running in a modified class, or an A or B class rider. But, they make the novice rider lazy, they should be learning to go faster by controlling the bike in the air, off-cambers and berms, they just twist the throttle on the straighs, then look like weebles in the corners, and once they hit the face of the whoops they fall apart. SO, learn to ride right and don't get lazy just by TWISTING THE THROTTLE AND SITTING DOWN,IT ISN"T THE RIGHT WAY TO RIDE, you have to be on your feet 85% of the time, so untill you can win local c-class races without motor mods, don't get them.

IF you don't believe me just ask the suzuki team manager and former racer rodger DeCoster.

Re: tips to make my cr250 faseter

You can get your bike ported by a pro for 120$, and for all you that say you can;t gettm bottem out of a 2 stroke, you can get more out of a 2 stroke than a 4 stroke, but then you have no topend. Put a flywheel weight on there for some torque and more bottem end, port it for all around. Check Moto814 for some good porting that is cheap.
