Stripped the bike of it's rear directionals, couple electronic controls on the handlebar and took off the mirror. Other than that... I'm still running a hard rear tire for the street. I've been able to do a mile in second sitting down now which was tough for me. I've always been a throttle burber, and untill you learn how to be smooth.... you'll never get some distance. So here's the pics. Look for some footage of this stuff in our DVD.

By the end of the session, I had gotten spreaders pretty dialed in. Only problem was my speed. I have to pull up in 1st sitting down and when you put your legs out the bike likes to wobble. So I started shifting to second before putting my legs out and that seemed to help.

And these are from last nigth (9/02/04). I really wanted to work on trying to 12'lve the bike. I figure if I get comfortable at a steep angle, I can start working on corners and then circles.

Worked on a couple more spreaders last night. Got some more control and distance with em. Here's a couple wide shots so you can see how cherry my spot is! All are welcome!

And I finally started messing with endo's. I got a whopping 8ft from my best one! I've still got the front master and lever from my EX mounted on the XR. There's air in the lines and the caliper isn't exactly the strongest on the market... but it's a fun trick to practice. Anyway... those are about it. Hope you likey!

Thanks guys. It's a ton of fun. However, I woke up to 2 fresh inches of snow covering everything this morning! I don't know how many more days I'll get to go out and practice anymore. I did however take the XR cross country the other day. Ever try a rocky hill climb with street tires? Yeah... it's hairy!

I love the fact that I've watched this bike grow up, from a lost relic to a reborn badass.... and now pictures of its first stunting. I feel like a father watching his son grow up from prison, except less sad.

LOL... I never thought of it like that. I'm so glad I bought a digital still cam this year or else I'd have no pics to share with everyone! It's been fun showing people my toys and my adventures our here in Colorado. Hopefully I'll have some EX stunting pics before it snows too hard!
