Stuntrageous.........

Welp....sorry to dissapoint.....No gold for the CVBz.....I kinda blew it.

Unfortunatly I didn't put much work into my front brakes this weekend, because I figured I didn't need them. Turns out that two parts of the judging were on Stoppies and Burnouts, so I got a zero on both !!!

Not trying to make excuses though....Still had fun....didn't crash, and threw in most of the tricks out of my bag so it was just nice to get out there and ride again. Also got to meet some new people, and some people I only knew off of hear. Best part of the trip for sure.

Congrats to everybody that beat me!!!!!!!

I'll try to get my brakes working and air filter cleaned by September.

Thanks everybody that came out for support, sorry I didn't do better.

I'll post some pics and vids up later on.

Re: Stuntrageous.........

I feel you on the brakes. I spent a day in the mud with my ex, and the front brakes are shot until I tear them apart. How far was the winning stoppie?

bout 10 feet.. but it was a freestyle so it only counted for 5 points

Rayrayz won with a score of 15, 2nd was joe from gloversville with a 13, next was myself with a 12 and Phear with a 10.

Good time for sure.. and i met Phear and ray for the first time.. Sept will be nasty!!!!

Re: Stuntrageous.........

Yeah...nobody made stoppies or burnouts the focus of their session out there....the ones that did them just did them good enough to get a few points out of the deal basically....Stoppies and burnouts on quads just aren't the same as they are on bikes in my opinion, so I wasn't thrilled when I saw them as seperate categories in the judging, but I guess that is how it normally works....wish I knew it a little before hand.....not saying that the results would be any different.....cause then I probably would have totally blown the wheelie portion of it....hahahah.

Learned my lesson either way.....don't wait until the last minute to make sure your stuff is on.

Re: Stuntrageous.........

Hahaha....okay, just wanted to clear a couple things up real quick. I've been asked by a few people if I "choked". LOL....I don't think so....I was fairly happy with how my run went, wasn't much I could do about my score. Again, there was a stoppie category, and a burnout category...you could get 5 points in each of those (10 total). Unfortunatly, I could not do either of those things because I had no front brakes. I attempted a 2nd gear burnout, but my quad has no power at full throttle (another long story), so that combined witht he fact that I had my big dirt tires with only like 2psi air in them, I could not turn them over. I then attempted a 1st gear burnout, but the front tires wouldn't stay in place .

So hopefully that explains it a little bit better.....hehehe. I'll try to get some pics up in a little bit when stuntlife isn't so sloooooooooooooooooooooooowwww.

Re: Stuntrageous.........

what kind of rednecks base points mostly on burnouts and endos...when it comes to quads those 2 tricks besides 12 tricks are the lamest in the sport...unless your rolling endos deep..but burnouts and normal endos...WTF!?

anyway cant wait to see some pics and a vid of WHEELIS and TRICKS WHILE DOING WHEELIES..not burnouts please leave them out!

Re: Stuntrageous.........

I can't remember the guys name on the YFZ, but this is him doing his no throttle hand creeps (running clutch with right hand). Real cool rendition of the regular no throttle hand wheelies. He also did some coasters, and some flamingo type combos...maybe some other stuff also but I was getting ready to ride so I could have missed some things.

The 400ex is Ray...he was the winner of the comp....Couple more to follow....
