Re: Stunting pics... 5/18/04

And then this happened....

Unfortunatly, my camerman had put away the vid cam and was only taking stills at the time. I came off a wheelie wrong and actually fell off! The quad ran over my arm and leg, but I'm fine. However, the quad kept going.... right down a 150ft bank! I had to go into town and buy some rope to pull it out with my truck.... bent the friggin a-arm. Also broke up parts of the front fenders that I just put on. (See Phear... told you I'd cause some damage!) Bent the fender bracket and that's about it.

I can ride 1st gear slow enough for you to walk next to. I can coast my 2nd gear stand-ups to a slow crawl too. Still working on control, but I'm getting there. Don't worry... I'm not hauling *** just to keep it in a wheelie. My problem is tire pressure... still vearing to one side or the other.... that's about the only reason that I'll put it down... otherwise I could hold a wheelie for blocks... sorry... farms.

NOW THAT IS WHAT I'M TALKIN ABOUT :YEAH .

That pic of you in your new CVBz duds is classic .

I'm digging the mountains in the background...WOW .

The wheelies are looking good bro, surely very impressive for the amount of seat time you've had .

Sucks about the crash...worst part it is wasn't on camera. What happened? Set her down with the wheels turned??? If that is what you did I bet you won't do it again. Looks like those stunna plastics came at the right time...sheesh...I guess next time you say you are going to get pics I won't ask for carnage cause you can't take a joke..hehehe. So even though it sucks about the crash and the broken parts, crashing still deserves one of these.... .

GO TAKE SOME MORE!!!!

Thanks guys. I'm fealing the aftermath from the wreck today. My hand is sore from where the tires ran it over. I was in a 2nd gear wheelie so maybe 15-20mph when it happened. I don't think the wheels were turned.... but I was leaning so hard to keep it straight that when it came down... I fell to the side. Haven't had time to fully evaluate the damage yet, but I probably won't be stunting till next week. I gotta see how bad that a-arm is and if it will still go up and down with the suspension.

-Drew

BTW.... anything you see me doing standing on the seat were my first attempts. I actually did a double flamingo one time... got it on tape too. However, as stated before... still working on keeping it going straight. It keeps vearing off the road

Yeah, but we're the "CVBz"!! I'm the only one crashing! Phear is just too damn good! Hazen is wonder boy. Jordan and Rizza are naturals. So who wants to watch a full video of just me crashing? Not me!! Okay... well maybe some of you do just cause you're twisted

as of this moment you are 10 times better then me. and I have about 20 hours of riding in. 2nd gear wheeles are tough on my quad. It pulls up real quick for me. but then again I suck. I have not been riding at all for about the last 2 weeks and now tiller is going away this weekend so now no riding with anyone till next week. it sucks.

Drive safe and try to keep the quad from running you over....

Thanks buddy.... but I have been focking with wheelies on various machines for years. This is my first quad though, so things are coming quickly for me. Not sure of your stunting history, but I can relate on how difficult it is. I give anyone mad props for doing the more serious tricks on these toys. It definitly takes seat time to get good.

To me??? Anything that involves taking a hand of foot off the machine or a combination of both. Now that I've started stunting quads I realize how difficult it is to maintain control while trying that stuff.
