Welcome to Colorado....

Woke up to 2 inches of snow at my place this morning. Being so high up, my house usually gets more snow than the rest of the county. However, driving in this morning past my local MX track.... I could see that it too got covered in snow. IT'S MAY 13TH!!!!! Man... now you see why they call it "mud season" up here. BTW... they're calling for 2-4 more inches today.

Here's a couple pics I snapped from the roof cam at work.... about 7:30am mtn time. These are shots surrounding my building. The one with the low flying cloud is pretty cool... you can see houses on the hillside if you look close. The lake you see in a couple shots has been thawed for a week and a half now.

I was actually thinking about getting that "snow traxx" system for my quad. Runs two skis up front and two tracks in the back. http://www.a2xtreme.com/2000/snowtrax.htm
