Re: New here

Here's a few pics this kid posted elsewhere of the race. You can see how dusty it was out there. I'll get pics up when I can.

Series... same thing basically. I remember you. Too bad quadfmx is down, I was liking it cause it's the best forum that's not blocked from work You don't have a girls class down there? There is about 6 girls that are pretty serious about racing up here and usually a couple others too.

Re: New here

Yeah, there's no girls classes here. And at the track I raced at on Sunday, put everyone in one big class, and didn't separate the results. So I had to compete against pros that have raced that track for years.....I don't expect to win though, I just love the feeling of when your lined up and that gate drops. It's ***** out from there.....great adrenaline rush for me.....lol

Re: New here

Freestyle Chick--- sounds like the race you had over the weekend was similar to mine... I got my tail whooped LOL it was a dirtbike series and in this there was only 3 quad classes pro, amu, mini and half the guys that were racing amueter were not but you only had two choices haha... oh well first race started good in 3rd holeshot but ended BAD and 2nd moto I DNFed after a HUGE pile up on the first corner after the holeshot it sucked... BUT normally we have an all quad series that we run and there is a Ladies class. There is about I think 8 of us in North Texas and know most of the girls from South Texas and there is about 8 I think... so you are looking at 16 in Texas LOL that races haha... WEIRD.... I just started in Nov and still scared of alot of the jumps myself.. I am finally to where I am airing out table tops and doing good there... LOVE step ups those are fun... I can hit a few doubles but usually I roll them and definately HATE WHOOPS... I am assuming you have heard about the GNC races?? I started those last month lots of fun but usually really FAR away.

Re: New here

Welcome to SL Good to see more girl racers. I will hopefully be back racin in the fall been without a quad for a few years, and you were definately right about the dust would have been a lot better if they would have watered the track a bit.
