Hazen is a decent person
You can't substitute maple syrup for 2 stroke oil

No but seriously, how does it run? Might be running rich. Do the plugs smell like gas? Goodluck.

If its a 2 stroke it needs to be rejetted, sounds like your running rich. Maybe go down a size or 2.

It is a 4 stroke as of right now it gose threw a plug a day inless cleaned after every ride when you take the plug out it is all black never smelled it but it is always black, only thing me and my friends came up with was a problom with piston rings or it is just plain getting to old.

Black like how?? Soaked in gas or burned up? You may be right about the rings going bad. A good way to find out is put your thumb over the plug hole and turn it over a few times. If you've got good compression... then that's not your problem.

Yeah... you probably need rings. Good luck.

First, check your oil

If your oil looks normal (not low, or no gas in it), and it's not burning any oil, than you can rule out needing rings or hoaning etc., it's a 200cc 4stroke and prolly doesn't require much compression to run right.

If it ran right at one time, and you haven't changed anything, than your jetting should already be correct. This means your carb is dirty.

So, clean your carb out, or if you don't feel like you can do it, get help from someone or bring it to a qualified technician.

If that doesn't work...... good luck

It could be jetter for 60° but then it would be running lean so that wouldnt foul plugs.

Re: Spark plug probs

Weak ignition? Bad plug cap? Dirty air filter? Carboned cylinder? Carboned exaust (not letting right amount of air out)? Bad cam? Bad cam chain? Bad valves? Bad vavle springs? You may also wnat to try new gas. I dont know if all of those could be the problem, but they could be a possibility.

Re: Spark plug probs

i had this problem with my bayou but it would foul the plug in like 15 min. Make sure the carb and everything inside is as clean as you can get it. I couldnt figure mine out and i tried everything, jets cleaning it and stuff like that but then my dad took everything out and soaked it in carb cleaned for like 9 hours and we put it back together and set the floats and the air screw and stuff like that and put it back on and bam it fired right up and never fouled a plug again. so just check all the screws and the float height and make sure everything is as clean as you can get it.
