My preference is still the EX .. no mixing for the gas, electric start, plenty fast, easy to stunt, and Hondas do seem to run forever!!
The shee is a nice ride.. just not as good all around as the EX .. if your racing i guess id go with it.. but if not the EX is the choice in my eyes!!! They rock!!!!!!!!!!
I wouldn't go with the Shee.... I've stunted one before.... check out my avatar. And I'm gonna disagree with Tiller on the racing thing.... I think the EX is better for that too. All in all.... go with the Honda.... it's a much better all around bike.
well i dont no yet my friend got a new 2004 banshee its real nice i like it just dont no what i want to do more go fast or stunt i think stuning looks a hell of alot cooler i just dont no what to get there is pros and cons to both hey how fast dose the ex go toped out? and is it easy to wheelie in all gears?

Yes the Banshee is a fast machine. It's great for rippin back roads and dune riding. I've heard the Shee can reach speeds close to 90mph. When modded correctly.... well over 100mph!!! I think the EX tops out at around 65mph. Ryan Jordan and RedRizza from our crew both run the 440 kit in their EX's. They claim wheelies in any gear are tit with the 440. Rizza could still wheelie in 5th though when his machine was stock. It all depends on what you're looking to do with the bike, how much you want to spend, how good of a rider you are, where you ride, yada, yada, yada....

and id say a EX will do 60 or 65.. topped out ? fast enough for the front end to get lite from the air under the fenders!!
Drew.. everyone that races in the summer at our local ski resort rides either shee's, ex's, or raptor's.... very few ex in the finals..

HUH??? At the races in NH and MA, EX's are always smokin the Shee's. I've seen it, taped it, and watched Rizza prove it! Your tracks may suit a snappier machine better???

I guess it all depends on who's on what machine. I've never seen Rizza beat by a Shee though.

I think he's practiced there before. Matter of fact.... even went with a kid who had a banshee. Of course this kid didn't ever race and wasn't very good. I do recall him breaking the pegs off the Shee on one of the jumps though

The warrior is more difficult to wheelie than an EX because of the wheelbase difference. You shouldn't have any problems with the EX if you can wheelie a warrior.
i know you said 2 of the guys in your crew have 440 kits but what are some other mods people have added to there quads cause i may have a chance to get a banshee from my cusin which has alot into it if it will cost me more to make my 400ex go faster and stunt better i would go with the banshee.
I think everybody else summed it up pretty good. I had a Banshee (the one in Andrew's avatar actually) and I had a blast on it....but that was when we had a lot of places to ride around here, and I was content with going wide open up the dirt road.
I never really tried "stunting" it, and probably with enough practice and the right mods it could have been done, but I really doubt I could pull off half the stuff I can on my EX. Just doing a wheelie on grass with a Banshee is a challenge because of the way the power band hits. My wheelies were pretty much just 4th gear power wheelies going down the road.
Yep, I can wheelie my EX in any gear on flat ground, no clutch. Somebody your size probably couldn't, but wheelies in 1-3 take pretty much no effort. Wheelies in 4th you have to pull some, but that can still be done sitting on the seat.
Crap....I started writing this like 1/2 hour ago and forgot about it and got caught up with some other stuff so I lost my train of thought...I guess that's it.
Haha..
