your nuts for thinking of doing a backflip but seeing that it can be done with a MX bike dont see why it cant be done with a quad... however you will be spending a lot of money on that machine when it comes down upside down... so take your time and calculate everything!!

 

Should be able to, a snowmobile can do one and there bigger than a quad, and I think a foam pit would be the best to practice in.

 

Travis P already did it on a quad.

Yeah, he learned it on an LT80 before he did it on his dirtbike. So, technically it's been done on a quad, but it's never been done on a full size.

I couldn't find any, but I've seen it in a video either online or on tv durring all the backflip hype when Metz pulled off the double.

Well... I'm not too impressed. Yeah they're doing a flip on a quad... but it's a 90(?) and neither one of those morons is wearing a helmet. So what if they're going into a foam pit... the second guy landed upside down! What if the quad crushed his melon? He wouldn't be trying anymore stunts.... but he would be trying to eat his food through a straw! When Metz does his flips on the CR250, the man wears full body armor and helmet and gloves and boots and.... well you get the point!

 

...That's cause Metz has had that whole CR come flat down on his chest learning them.

 

there is some kid they call 4-barel darel that is doing the backflip in h-6...he hasnt done it yet i think he is doing it this weekend or next there talkin about it on the h-bomb films forum
