Pics of my new mt bike

Well, I finally got in the front brake hose to my bike. It is now complete and adjusted. The suspension needs fine tuning but it's ready to go. I started out my day by going snowboarding at A-Basin. Now I think I'm going trail riding for the first time on the bike. It's the HIGH life in HIGH country!

Peace,
Andrew

and last one....

The bike is outfitted with XT hubs, brakes, derailer, and shifters. The rims are sun rims(single track). The rear shock is stock(Fox Vinilla) as well as the fork(Fatty Head Shox). The tires are made by Kenda and run 2.35" wide. The XT rotors are 6" and the XT calipers are dual piston. It rips great wheelies too!

Thumbs up

I know nothing about bikes, but the pics look really sweet. Nicer than any bike I've seen up close that's for sure.

I can't get over the shape of the frame...

Looks good...nice stickers

I don't know much about bikes either... but it looks good drew. Be careful with those brake lines. XT lines are steel braided but don't have the silicone casing that the other ones do. It willl scrape the paint off your bike every time it touches. That seat is ill. The shitty part is that I paid $2700 last summer, for pretty much the same thing you built in your bungallo.

Yeah, you can tell that in time the line will wear the paint... but oh well.... it's a mt bike not a spit polished gixxer! I'm please with how the final project came out. It rides nice too. I took it out for about an hour and a half yesterday riding some sweet single tracks in the area. I really like the brakes.... very nice control. And the price... the bike booked for $1,600 new in '01 with cheaper components and I've got about $900 total in the bike with XT components. Not a bad deal.

Dave, there are very nice trails out here. I'm pumped that I've got full suspension now, cause you need it out here!!! There are a lot of hiden trails, only locals know about and there's even some "jump parks" I've only offroaded one time.... that would be the day I posted these pics. That day, I went down and twisted my ankle... I haven't been on the bike since, but hopefully today
