Mh yea, frozen streets, snow and - of course - salt
doesn't mix well with metal.
We don't have much of an issue about it here,
but Germans did find some kinda solution about it..

Nice looking truck, the tints make it alot nicer too. Black is the best have to agree. I hate those tires now, had them on my last truck and on my truck now, they wear too fast and i get stuck all too much. Its a 2006 GMC Ext cab Short bed, 5 inch exhaust, intake, and performance chip.

Suspension lift was just over $2000(parts + install) and the lowest lift I could do was 5inches. The body lift was just under $1000(parts + install) and was only 2inches. There was no 3 or 4 inch option for my truck. So I went with the cheaper of the two. After all... it's a daily driver... not a crawler.

Thanks. Too bad I live on a dirt road now and the passing traffic is always getting my truck dirty!
