HD video 6.20.07
A buddy of mine has a sick HD camera and wanted test out some settings and a wide lens. I couldn't do **** for tricks, but we got some great High Def footage! So, I already know I can't jump or do squat on the bike, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on the quality and editing. Thanks.

If you want to download the HD version, I made three files sizes. Depending on your computer/internet speed, the biggest version could take awhile, but it's sick quailty!
Highest res... HD!

Medium res... still HD!

Lowest res...

Damn, whats the camera he's got? I'm looking for a JVC GY-HD110U... Sick.
Also, that's not real 24p is it? Its good editing. And yes, QuickTime is the way to go!

It's a panasonic. Went for about 5K. I'm not sure the model. It's DVCPro/HD. It records onto disks and tapes, so you can use it for different formats of video. It's not for the average consumer. You need to know a little something about videography to set it up properly. And yes... that's real 24p.

No, not intentional. We were fighting with the sun and clouds that evening. The park we were shooting in has lots of trees and tall surrounding buildings. Derrek was moving from shot to shot quickly as I rode. He probably wasn't adjusting the iris from one shot to the next. We're gonna shoot again on a perfect sunny day just to see the difference. That was a "testing" day for his camera to figure out settings and such.
