i'm picking up some plugs for it tonight...it ran like crap once i got to work on friday, and on my way home. anything below 4k rpm's was really doggy.

I will however take up anybody's offer to help me tune them, because I don't have the slightest clue what I'm doing. The bike had a little bit of shake before I had the seals changed, but now it's even more sensitive. I do just have the stock damper, but even if that was totally screwed I'd think that it would still be a little better than it is...but I don't really know anything. I'd love an aftermarket one sometime when I save some pennies up.
Oh By the way. The plugs were bad, which is why it was running like crap. For some reason the guy had regular NGK's in it...which don't seem to last long. Gotta stick with the irridium...it's not like it costs much more.

Dude... stop thread jacking. I have no clue who you are, so hopefully Slinky does. Otherwise... you're not welcome here if you're trying to start **** or talk smack.
Phear... I know this thread was to sell your quad... or at least trade it. But now we're all talking about your gixxer.... sooooooooo..... Did you make sure the fork oil is the same amount in each tube? I've heard that if you have more in one over the other, that you can get the "shakes". You should also check your axle. Make sure it's straight and true. Lean over the front while riding and have a look at it... hopefully it's not moving side to side!
So about these mile long wheelies.... sit down or stand up? What gear? Can you shift? Can you do spreaders? Seat standers? One armed bandit reach arounds with a curly sue?
