Slinky, I'll do the same for you too if you want to see a side by side comparision to help you shop.

Keep in mind I didn't have a straight shot of the rims, so they look a little "off".

Re: Hoopty

Right on.

I picked up a set of 05-07 Silverado 17" 5 spokes today with new tires for $300. The tires have like a week of driving on them.

I'll post a pic on FSC once I swap em. I couldn't afford bigger wheels right now but at least these will let me get the drop spindles.

Re: Hoopty

You can.

www.craigslist.com

But seriously Josh - Send me an email (not on Stuntlife cause I ignore those - hahah) and tell me your bolt pattern and what you're lookin for. Down here I come across stuff like this all the time. On a 4WD I'd suggest Some black wheels with like 31's or something ... let me know.

Re: Hoopty

Just picked up some GNAAARLY audio equipment too... Alpine Type E or Type R 6" door speakers, A V-12 amp for the doors and a Kicker 600x1 amp for the 10" Alpine Sub, Panasonic flip-out DVD screen... hopfully it works with my iPod... Now I just need to build a box that fits under the seat and wire it all up. Prolly wait till next week when the ex car-audio tech gets back to work and have him do it. Had to get some good tunes for the VT trip!

the tundra has a retarded bolt pattern... 5x150mm which is like 5x5.9 inches. there aren't many options out there right now so it's hard to find deals. sucks cause that is one of the few things i hate about the truck, the stock rims are ugly

too bad you couldnt wait for a sub till you get up here....my buddy has a JL 10w3 in a box made to go under your seat that he's getting rid of...we're going to try and stuff a 12w3 under his seat. That thing should sound good...you should listen to the system in my truck when you come up... i'm running a crappy JVC KDAR800 deck...6.5" Sound Stream Taurantula components in the front doors, 6.5" SoundStream Taurantula coaxles in the rear doors, 2 JL10w1's jammed in behind the back seat and a SoundStream VanGoh 800.5 5channel amp powering everything.
Oh and I have a setup for m Laptop to fit up front that gives me a 15" wide screen DVD player, access to my 1000's of songs, and wireless internet lol

Do you like any of the Factory Tundra wheels? Factory wheels are easy to find here cause everyone buys 20's or bigger.
