hey buddy, how much are you gearing your new 636? I think i'm going +10 on my 600RR. I want slow slow slow, but also some street. and If my bike only goes a little over 120mph then so be it. who cares if your top end gets cut down that much. people freak, but I'll have plenty of umph to play on the highway.

I was -1 +6 on my 6R and that was perfect. learned 12's and everything I know on that bike. (minus the new slow no throttle/hand stuff)

but that was pretty much +9 or +10 right? I like the feeling of that gearing. very comfortable. lemme know.

peace,

Jrod

Re: Finally

I had that Gixxer 600 stuntbike that was geared like crazy (can't remember exactly what) and man it felt so weird...I gotta get used to that

Re: Finally

I'm picking up a new car in a couple weeks, so I will have 2 to trade in for my new truck.

Oh and can you PM all the details on your sled? is it a sweet one? I think my buddy may be interested. Not sure. lemme know pal,

+10 kinda sucks on the street. I rode to work on +10 for 2 weeks... sucked. I'd try -1+5 or something at first.

Gearing on the 636 depends on whether or not I get this street killer. Prolly something like +7 or 8. I'll have to look into the hot setup.

yea man +10 may be a little much. I really loved -1 +6 on the 6r. i'm sure I can do everything with that gearing. Maybe i'll do the same to the 600rr..

what is token geared? his sprocket didn't look that big at all.

your f4i was pretty high geared. I love my 9 @ -1 +10.

who knows. i'll draw out of a hat or something.
