For all those Supercross/Motocross fans....

As I'm sure most of you know, this was Ricky's last year racing full time. He's going to race selected indoor and outdoor races in the 07' season for Team Suzuki. I haven't found a press release yet to confirm this, but they've been saying that RC would make a major announcement today at the press conference before the US Open of Supercross. Judging from the pics... he'll be racing cars next year. My thoughts are mixed because he's going into semi retirement way younger than most of the guys he still beats on a regular basis and as a fan, I'd like to see him compete full time for many years to come. Either way... I'm still an RC fan and wish him luck with whatever he does.... even if it is racing stupid ol' Nascar.

I'm currently in Vegas, listening to the live webcast of the race over at the MGM Grand. They're joking about a big year for Nascar and dodging the topic of Ricky racing the car, but they already have the pics up on www.ussx.com and his name is on the #4 car he's standing next to in the pics, so I'm sure it's confirmed. I'll try posting a link to the article as soon as they make it public.

I read through the article, but may have missed it....has he had any auto racing experience?

i think he will do well he is a focused pro in any thing he does
