You couldn't shim the motor over to get the drive chain to sit straight? What are they gonna have to do to the frame?

Jay and Slinky... checked my coolant. I don't think I blew the heater coil. The levels are fine. It's gotta be something else. What other parts should I check out?

even if i did shim the motor over, i spoke with a guy that used to build these bikes, and the motor is sitting too high...when you compress the suspension the chain loosens, its not supposed to do that. so the frame needs to be notched and the motor lowered and straightened. I'll strip the bike down whenever i get a chance and send it out to him. Should be a nice 500 bucks

I couldn't find a fuse for the heater in my fuse panel? Haven't searched under the hood for one yet. I don't even know where the thermostat would be located??? And how would I know it's bad? Wouldn't that effect my operating temp?

Bottom line... I gotta go pick up a shop manual for the truck this weekend and do some problem solving....

yeah that would probably be your best bet. They should have a good trouble shooting guide in the back of the book.

wow... this thread is AWESOME!!

Chas... like slinky said... we need proof. Yes, we're asking for naked pics of you. NO, I don't actually expect you to show the goods... but a guy can hope right?

Slinky... beef curtains is probably the grossiest term I've ever heard used for that part of the body... Good one!

Hazen... aren't you too young to know what beef curtains actually are???
