I bet you all were expecting more outdoor pics like I posted of Banff, Canada. Wrong!

I get asked a lot about what I do for work when I travel from city to city. Well... here it is in a nutshell. 75% of the time I'm working at trade shows with Kodak. I set up the booth... from start to finish. When I first arrive to a convention center... I see bare concrete floors. I start laying down all the power, video, audio, and network cables. We then lay down the carpet and start setting up all the displays, counter tops and rooms. Next we get all the electronics in place and get them powered up and running. When we're finished... it looks a little something like these pics...

I never really get to explore my surroundings, but I manage to eat at some pretty nice places for dinner. Maybe one day I'll re-visit all the places I've worked and actually do some site seeing.

My next stop will be upstate VT for a little R&R with some CVBz. Anyone who wants to ride is welcome to join us next weekend.

Drew, nice pics....Looks just like the tradeshows our company goes to but totally different field. It's crazy how much stuff goes on at those places!

You should "accidentally" box up a few of those plasma screens and put your home address on them

 

Considering they belong to the company who's name is on my paycheck... it probably wouldn't be a good idea.

After my trip to VT, I'll be heading to Charolette, NC and then Reno, NV. Will you be joining us next weekend Lanphear, or should we just assume you've got some "family" plans?

Actually I do have "Family" plans one day that weekend. It's my little girls 5th B-day party. My woman says as of right now the part is on Saturday if she can get the day off from work. So either way I have one day at least where I can head over to hang with you guys.

I'm sure you have plenty to do over at Jordan's also, but if things die down you are welcome to stop in for some cake and ice cream...hehe.

 

No offense... but it figures. I finally make it back to VT after almost 2 years and you have plans!!! I completely understand though. We should deffinitly try to ride together on your free day though. Bryan plans on joining us at some point for some riding. The kids is so tough, he's talking about wearing a kidney belt just to help with the pain! Crazy bastard!

Well sorry that she was born 5 years ago...I can tell her that Uncle Andrew wants to skip her B-day this year and she has to stay 4 for another one...but just to warn you, she has quite a temper and she's really mean...I swear the kid has ninja moves...ask Bryan. It wasn't a sled that ruptured his Spleen, it was the 3-foot assassin.

Like I said, if you guys run out of stuff to do at Jordan's you are welcome to come up. We got enough back roads and stuff to keep you guys riding all day without getting bothered by anybody.

Otherwise I will be over that way on whichever day we do not have the party.

And that young lady in the picture looks a lot like Erin...aka Skinbabe. What do I win?

 

LOL... that's funny... "3-foot assassin". You tell her to have her birthday party. I hope it's a happy one! And of course we'll make a point to stop by if we get the time. Not sure exactly what we're doing yet, but it involves beer at night and quads during the day. I wanted to check out that huge crib of yours anyway. Charlotte rocks!...my gf has family down there and we go every summer....they actualy have a RiRa's down there too!...i've gotten plastered there a couple times....but its a real nice city, i may be looking into relocating down there when this place here closes down.

 

I also have family down that way. Unfortunatly, these trips are usually all business with little time for play

I saw your post on GMO's forum. I'll be there friday evening. When are you thinking about showing up?

Here's some of the custom choppers they have at the trade show. They told me I wasn't allowed to register for a chance to win one because I'm an exhibitor here with Kodak.
