OK guys. Jordan has pulled through for us and gotten us what we've ALL been waiting/looking for. He's gotten us permission to ride a peice of commercial property in Swanton. It has a 100x250ft. peice of pavement. We can ride inside in a couple of spots. There is a large gravel parking lot to play in also. This is great guys, something to get us started. Dan, Ryan and I all went to check it out Saturday. Sounded like he wouldn't mind us setting up a ramp over in the gravel lot area either. Lots of potental here guys.

just let me know if you guys need anything....oh and i'm going to be looking tonight for a setup for my computer...its from Dazzle..it converts any kinda of video to digital. and comes with a DVD authoring program and everything....i wanna see how it works and maybe i wont have to upgrade from my Hi8 camera

I have the "all in wonder" card. Yes it works, no you wouldn't want to make a vid with it. Entry level quality for vids is mini-DV/firewire, and that is definatly entry level. Just my

As far as this lot and getting permission. Basically it was just who we knew. The owners son is kinda into the whole stunt thing is just being a crazy ****er himself. So, he was stoked to have us come down and get crazy. It is a vacant building. Highly vandalized. We'll have to sweep **** up to have a decent stunt spot, but it'll be well worth it. Good luck finding a spot, I know we've been looking for like a year. Unfortunatly 1 spot is not enough for a vid, so we'll have to keep looking for more oportunities.

 

Slinky...if you want an All in wonder card for capturing video I can hook you up with one for free. I have one at home also and have a hard time capturing decent vid clips with it, but it's still cool to have.

I've heard of the thing called Dazzle that you speak of....I don't know much about it though. If you check out the site www.vcdhelp.com they have some forums there that mention it.

Hopefully I'll have a mini dv camera sometime in the near future...it's going to be the cheapest one I can get that is half way decent, but it'll be better than nothing.

Ryan, speaking of a Ramp....I know a guy that we might be able to get some metal from. He works at a plant and can get nice steel for cheap...He used to be able to get it for free, but it's still about as close as you can get. Should be able to talk to him later this week.
