Okay... you're only digging your hole deeper now buddy. I can't help but ask... if Jordan was there with you and Bryan and he used his truck and trailer to haul quads.... why couldn't you come over to NY to ride????

i don't have control over where the truck goes.....the spot we were at is 1/2 hour from his house as opposed to 4 hours....that is why i'm assuming he was able to go there that day.

BTW.... It felt really good pulling wheelies past all those cops in the parade on Sunday. Thanks again JT crew for letting me ride with you guys.

Look dude... I'm mearly giving you **** because all of us over here in NY really wanted to ride with you three. You all tell me a couple days before that you can't make it. This seems to happen all the time, as all three of you guys really wanted to ride over here just two weeks before. It's honestly a headache trying to get everyone in the same place at the same time. So not only are we all frusturated over here in NY about you not showing, now come to find out... all three of you got together to ride anyway. Can you see why I'm ranting on and on about this? I'm not trying to be a dink Phear... you're my bud.... but it's just frusturating when everything is looking good and we may all get together finally... and it all falls through... AGAIN!!!! It can wear on a man. As for me... I'm done trying. If anyone wants to ride, they know how to dial a phone.... I hope

And not to mention that I had 3 hours to drive... one way, spent $80 in gas, and $20 in tolls,and showed up with a utility quad... not a stunter. Even if you hopped on your gixxer, paid $40 in gas and tolls, threw a leg over the same 4 stunt quads that were offered to me... I'm almost positive you would have had a great time. But you're more than welcome to spend your Sunday's as you see fit.

I could explain why I couldn't even take the bike down there, but it would be looked at as an excuse so I'm not sure there is any sense in it....

aw what the hell, I'll do it anyway. Rain...rain...rain....It was pouring when I woke up (at 10:00am), and it rained on the way to Jordan's house (at 1:00pm). Rained on the way to the spot (around 2:00pm) and rained while we were riding (at around 2:45pm).

next on the list...my front tire...it is bald. and when i say bald, I am not kidding. It has one strip of tread down the center, and none anywhere else. I will take a picture of it if anyone is interested in seeing it...actually I'm going to take a picture of it anyway because it's so bad. I didn't even ride it to Jordan's house like I had planned too.

Now, the rain alone does not bother me....I could have planned ahead and picked up the proper clothing....

and the bald tire doesn't stop me, I'll still ride it....

However, mix the two together and we have a problem....To ride it like that for 4 hours in the rain would be suicide.

Call it an excuse, call it what you want...but that is the reason that would have not worked out.

Simple solution...buy a tire...yes...I wish. Not to ramble on with excuses, but I am currently in the negative #'s with my "recreation fund". Why not borrow money? Cause I'm pretty tapped out as far as that goes too. My real life money has been going into our $2000 per month house (with one income), it's back to school time for the kiddies, the $1800 loads of dirt (yes dirt), that were just dropped off here on Monday....and, many, many other things.

I managed to swindle $20 from our "real life" money because I found a nice crisp $20 bill in one of my birthday cards from 1999...no joke. Know where that money went? In preperation for our ride that was going to take place, I purchased brake pads and a tie rod for the Z400 so there would be an extra quad floating around. Did I mention the brake pads were USED? Yes, I had to buy USED brake pads? Who the hell buys used brake pads?

Needless to say, I'm broke again, and probably won't see a new tire on my bike before next year. Ask Slinky, I am trying to save up enough so I can buy a USED tire off of him.

Anyway, I've rambled too much about my issues. I know everybody had their own, so talking about mine is not helping anything.

I am sorry things did not work out....I would have loved to have been there. I did not mean it to be a personal insult to anyone involved, and if anyone was insulted I am sorry for that too.

There will come a time when we can ride....maybe it will be here...maybe it will be there.

In the meantime...I will be sitting here making up more excuses off the top of my head, and ignoring any obvious answer to them I can think of.

 

I never said "insulted" and never claimed to be pissed. I used "frustrated" because we've all tried to get together so many times, and it always fell through. Just don't feel bad because you suck.
