FTrain being stupid in his backyard

My stupid move of the week. It has been stuck in my backyard for 3 days now. Going to get her out tonight if I have to pick it up and carry it out on my back.

Train, you have to call up Travis sometime and go mudding. he can pull ya out if you guys get stuck. ever since he bought the winch and made the 1/4 bumper, he hasnt had the chance to use the thing.

If I had another person with a winch it would have been out in 10 minutes. I broke my cable trying to winch at a angle. There are some sick *** trails up here in NH. Been going out to south western NH near kene almost every weekend since I got the Jeep 4wd going again.

Re: FTrain being stupid in his backyard

Got a come along also and was using that when Buick showed up. Come along is so so slow. I jammed the come along wire up also. To get it unjammed I had to remove a pully which reduced the come alogn from 4 tons to 2 tons. I lost the c clip to hold the pully on in the mud.

The wire has a roller fairlead also. When I was unspooling it I should have disengaged the clutch on the winch and pulled the line out. Instead camille back it out using the motor and the wire jammed up inside the bumper. Pretty much I was rushing and should have taken the time to done it right. $150 cable down the drain. I replaced the cable with a rop. It is twice the price but very safe compared to a cable. Plus it is stronger then the cable. If the rope breaks it drops to the ground rather then cutting you in half or flying through the windshield.

As I said this should have taken 10 mintues to get out with my winch or someoen elses. I just had some bad luck trying to rush rather then taking my time.

Anyone is welcome, it is so much fun. We are thinking about having a party up at my house sometime soon. Just trying to get a fiddy track built before then.
