is this the way to update to 17"rim, if it is, what about berings? and will my 900rr front brake rotors fit on the f3 rim? please help???

 

Yes! you can put a f3 front on a 900 but it must be a 95-97 900! The newer 900's it doesnt bolt right up with calipers and rotors like it does on the 95-97

 

i have a 98rr so, what else do i have to do to make fit? the f3 rim is of a 96 model! i need more details please!

 

the problem is the rear wheels to all 900's are the same! The fronts are different I believe the bearings and the spacers are all the same but the bolt pattern for the rotors are different so they dont line up. The offset to the fork is different so the rotors will hit. The best thing to do is change the fork legs!
Im not sure if the top and bottom clamps are the same. If they were different you would have to change them!

you canbolt them right up...you just need lock washers between calipers and fork legs...it will offset the calipers to fit the rotors.
lockwashers can be brought in home depot....i believe they are 3mm not sure though.

hi!FOR A 99 900 IS IT THE SAME,I HAve a cbr600f3 96 and the 900 when i tried the spacers seamed to be the probleme,so should i put wheel&disc of f3 with spacers&galipper of 900 with those lock washers,if you see the post please let me know.thanks
