I notice a lot of you guys are from the brockton area..what do you guys think about Brockton cycles. I heard they have some deal on leathers there and I was thinking of heading down their to check out what they have. If nothing else to get an idea as to the sizing etc....

Re: Brockton Cycles

the leather they sell is cheap and garbage...as is the store!!! actually i bought my first race suit there three years ago for like 500 bucks...not a bad deal, but the thing was junk after two crashes...i think it was a fieldsheer or something...

just got back from the motophoria.com headquarters---man, that **** is tight!!

my new extreme ion gloves are hands down (no pun intended) the best glove i have ever worn!!!

Ya I went down there..mainly just to try on a suit to get the sizing...looks like I'm a 50. All they had were cheaper suits...lol feildsheer to be exact...$599. I'm looking for a better quality. I already have a pair of Held gloves..know all I need is leathers, boots and a back protector

Re: Brockton Cycles

I was just looking at motophoria.com. How does their stuff compare with the name brands? Dianese, Vanson, Alpinestars...??? Their prices look pretty good. I am planning on checking out Vansons open house...from what i hear Vanson is the best..but I dunno. I'm trying to get the best suit I can for the money. I do not want to sacrifice quality for price though...

F BCC their salesmen are ********. If you do go there, find the big parts guy with the goatee and remind him how much he hates his girlfreind and how he should really get a start on his life, and reinforce that by saying "what you gotta be 30 by now" haha. ****ing with Gerry rules

Re: Brockton Cycles

the guy I delt with seemed to be pretty cool...but I had my salesman hat on cuz I just wanted to try on a pair of leathers and didn't get their until like 15mins before they close. He was an older guy..I forget his name.

Re: Brockton Cycles

Motophoria's quality is higher than those like Vanson, Alpinestars, etc. They triple stitch every seam and they use pre-conditioned leather so there is virtually NO break in period. You put them on and it feels like you've had them for years. It's the thickest leather I've owned too. Check 'em out before you make a decision.
