Re: Summer meet Buster

I will take some pictures tonight. The dog likes to box with his paws, get into the garbage, detroys stuffed animals in under 5 minutes, chew wood, and look for table scraps.

Hmmm.... my dog also likes to box, but I'm afraid your Buster may be too much of a bad influence on my little princess. Take him to obedience school, and then once he graduates maybe we can set up some sort of play-date. And while you're at it, send yourself to obedience school.

How old's your doggie?? Is she dominant or submissive?? My girl is a bit of a tom-boy, she usually doesn't get along well with other dominant females (she's a bitchy bitch). She prefers the company of males, but it's worth a shot.

Re: Summer meet Buster

those are some fine looking bitches!! j/k

anyway, not to completely bastardize this thread, but ive heard some people with boxers are having a bit of a tuff time getting homeowners insurance. in fact a guy i work with who loves boxers too, his insurance told him that boxers were on a list of dogs (along with pit-bulls, rotties, dobies, etc...) that they would no longer cover the homeowners. anybody else heard of this?

Big Joe, I realize that this isn't a dog forum - but you did bring up a rather important issue. Breed banning for insurance companies is becoming VERY popular. Some insurance companies keep lists of dogs they will not allow in an insured home and boxers have shown up on some of those lists (particularly GEICO). My suggestion to your colleague is to kindly tell his insurance company to stick their list up their ***! There are plenty of insurance companies out there who WILL allow boxers, pit-bulls, dobies, shepherds and the like. If my insurance company even THOUGHT about putting Boxers on some sort of list, I would immediatly cancel all coverage (car, bike, homeowners, life) and I would let them know about it too. I **** on their lists!!
