whatever makes you feel better. Yanks fans have 1/2 of what us Sox fans have.... faith in our team. It's no fun if your team keeps winning. It's always fun supporting the underdog.... it's a better feeling when they finally win.

Keep you Yanks and stay on the bandwagon. NY is for sally's. Jeter swallows. Clemens sux and I love seeing Pedro kickin his ***.

yeah, whatever. It doesn't really matter.... as long as the Yanks don't make it. I'm so sick of the Yanks winning it. For the good of baseball the Cubbies or BoSox need to win.

If the WS ends up being BoSox & Cubbies, I have access to both parks and a place to stay in Lincoln Park

Chicago is great....as far as baseball goes. The Cubs can be in last place and it will be a Monday(or any day of the week) and it will have 40,000 people there cheering them on....now those are fans (we're all drunk but who cares)

So you guys head on out if you can, the city is going to be a mad house after we win!

This is a picture I took after then one the 1st series. There where people on the streets for blocks

If the Cubs beat Florida, I'm getting in my car, hopping on I-90, and I'm gonna drive until I see a big lake on the right.

BTW - is that Addison in that pic?

Chicago is a killer..... I've been out there many times. I love the city. I've been to a few Cubbie games and the fans are much like the Red Sox fans. They can be dead last and losing 25-0 and we're still cheering them on. Every single game is sold out and it's near impossible to get good seats. Fenway (like Wrigley) is one of MLB's oldest parks and it's indescribable how cool it is. This year, they open Yawkey Way to the park so I have a good idea how a crowded streets are.... it's awesome drinkin outside.

Anyway, Go Cubbies!! Go Sox!!

Why don't yankee fans have faith in our team. I am not on the bandwagon. I do not switch teams each season nor have I ever have. I am a Yankee, Jets, and Knicks fan because I was born in NY and my Dad raised me as a NY fan. If you go to NY, people do not hate Red Sox fans as much as New Englanders hate NY Yankee fans. I was pretty shocked when i first moved up here how much anger Red Sox fans have towards the Yanks. Maybe blame your own team for not doing well instead of the Yanks.

"If we had the payroll as the Yanks we would be #1 also." So go get that payroll.

"Why hate a winner? Does anyone hate Lance Armstrong for winning the last five Tour de France's? I've heard people on the radio, friends, etc. just say "I don't really follow baseball but I just don't want the Yankees to win again". Lame argument. "

That is NOT a lame argument.... why watch if you know who's gonna win?

I hate the Yankees simply because they win every game. And they should be winning... look at their market.... NY's population alone is close to 19 million vs Boston's 5million and that is a huge market gap. They have a stadium that caters to twice the size of Fenway and that = $$. Now you buy popular players and you have more than just New Yorkers diggin the Yanks. There is no denying the fact the Yankees win due to their $140 million roster.

I think it is so much better to follow a team who constantly places top 3 in the AL East every year.... yeah they struggle but that is why we enjoy watching and waiting for the break. It feels better to support the team with less $$ invested. I think the players play with more love for the game.

BTW, I know you aren't a "fair weather fan" but you are a Massachusetts resident now. NY is your past and you need to jump on and enjoy the Boston teams. We have a sport city like no other and it's ashame you aren't with us..... BOZO!

Lata,
Bri

PS. Yankees Suck... Jeter swallows.!!! Time to Cowboy up bitch!!

What's with the Cowboy thing, anyway? They kept talking about that. I wonder if I should bring my felt hat and boots back with me the next time I go home.
