Little Red Ridding Hood

Never realized how much I missed the V-Twin. How nice it was to ride a v-twin into work today. Miss my old TL but I will stick with da inline 4's until I can afford two bikes.

What causes a bike to backfire when you are decelerating??? Running to rich??? It is only one pop and only when I am slowing down to a stop.

That little red bike better not mysteriosly catch fire today, or there'll be hell to pay!

BTW - the pop you are hearing is because of the PAIR valve. It recirculates air into the exhaust for cleaner emissions. The air usually ignites with the fuel and you get a bang. If you remove the PAIR valve, the backfires go away.

Here we go with the pair valve thing again

Ha ha ha just remembering the last time we talked about the 'Pair" valve

Lemme know if you need a ride Cam

This ought to be good. You and I rolling up the highway on the Hawk. I'd better crank the springs all the way up to FATBOY settings.

Why do you have a pair in your valve?
Is that like a banna in your pipe?
