MA politicians are trying to ban all 2 strokes!!

I would strongly suggest that everyone send a message to them, telling them that they can't get away with this type of crap!

First it will be 2 strokes, then it will be all off road vehicles. It will happen if we let it.

You can send a message through the AMA web site.

Dude by 2006 all snowmobile manufaturers have to be putting 4 strokes in them. No more 2 stroke sleds.

Yamaha and Actric cat are already putting 4 strokes in a few sleds. The yamadog sled has the R-1 motor.

The 4 stroke bikes are dominating the AMA supercross races.

I say it's bullshit but that's just the way **** goes.

not surprising that it's introduced by a rep. from Arlington. Why?? he shouldnt give a ****, theres no place in Arlington to ride a two stoke anyways. They dont like GBM, I know quite a few cops from that town and they all say that GBM is a problem, and when they have to deal with the owners that they are dick heads ( shocking!!!).

even if they ban them, i dont see any way of enforcing it, the staties are already short guys and with rommney's cuts its only getting worse.

Either way, im still going to ride this summer in the woods next to my house

It will be quite easy to enforce the law IF we let it happen. Since they are only trying to ban the SALE of new 2-strokes. They aren't going to ban the riding of two-strokers or the sale of used bikes. It's pretty much illegal everywhere to ride the fawkers anyway. Wait a minute... I don't live in MA anymore, so WTF do I care... you guys can fight your own battles... Excuse me now, I have to go live free and/or die.

After re-reading the proposal, I have come to the conclusion that it is extremely ghey. It would only be a state-wide ban on new sales. Meaning that people could still go to other states and buy 2-strokes (until other states jump on the "ban-wagon"). And anyone in MA with half a brain should be making the drive up to NH (i.e. - Nault's) when purchasing an off-road vehicle, just to save on the sales tax.

I have some bad news for ya. A lot of the liberal scumbags are migrating north. It won't be long before they impose their rediculous ideas on you.
The other point is that this is just the tip of the iceburg. If they are allowed to get away with this, what will be next? jet ski's, 4-stroke dirtbikes, ski mobiles? Keep in mind that these are the same people who are environmentalist tree huggers, and that all our off road activities might interfere with the life of a beetle, or maybe some ant's.
Call me a fear monger if you like, but this is they way they operate. If you try to take everything away from people, they will revolt, but take a little of your freedom's at a time, and if your not paying attention they will all be gone.

Try getting a dirtbike regestered without paying sales tax The enviro cops down here will impound your bike if you don't have a plate. And believe me, they have a way of sneeking up on you.

Sales tax? Enviro cops? Yikes... they take that **** seriously I guess. I never realized there was a registration requirement for dirtbikes. I never registered my dirtbikes when I lived in R.I. or MA. Shame on me.
