show blew...no effort at track prep by management, we'll leave it at that.

next year there will be ramp2ramp which will be better!

Re: Verizon Show in Manchvegas!

go kill 'em bro! the floor usually SUCK at the indoor Monster truck shows, but do what you can to put on a great show for the fans! if coke syrup doesn't work cause there is too much dust/dirt, we found that taping down huge (like 15-20 feet long) rugs (doormat style ones with rubber undersides) let us get enough traction to get the wheel up.

ya, well, they weren't having me. a quote from the head guy within 30 seconds of meeting him "nothing against you, but i dont like the sportbike guys".

not allowed to put duct tape down. the coke spraying was a joke. basically, they didnt want sportbike in the venue even for FREE! i was given 2 minutes at 7:20 when the show started at 8 pm!

but i did what i was supposed to: smile and apologize, followed by more *** kissing, despite what i really wanted to do.

on another note, legion boys were given props on their performances in the past---i knew you guys would be great!

all in all a bad taste in my mouth, but one day we'll get what we deserve!

Thanks bro, like i told you earlier today, we need to do a show together!!!

Sorry to hear that! That REALLY sucks when they don't even want to give ya a chance or even TRY to help you out!

But at least a true professional was there and knew how to handle the situation! At the event we were at a few weeks ago, the floor was the most slippery thing i have EVER ridden on... and the promoters told us about the last time they had sportbikes (not any of us, but a local privately hired team) and they couldn't even get the wheel up, so the crashed into each other on purpose and then told the promoter to forget it, and that they were going home without finishing the show or weekend... way to be professional... you have to make it the best you can, smile, put on a show, etc!
