What do you think??

Why don't we set up a charity ride. Organized by Core 6. I was speaking to a couple Officers of the Law who thought this was a great idea. Being Core 6 is a new group, you don't have a reputation with the Law, good or bad, so before you're targeted like DTE, why not show everyone what kind of people we really are. There are plenty of charities to choose from. Maybe something like the head care foundation. In my opinion it's things such as this that will open up this sport to corprate sponsors as well.

I just wanted to throw out the basic idea, I have some other thoughts as well but didn't want to get too deep into it. So what do you all think? Ideas? Suggestions? Would you pay $10-$30 and or collect donations to help a good cause, have a great ride, and cookout and such? The officers said it's simple to set up a police escort for the ride as well, and they would love to do it.

Dude, good idea. I'm gonna look into it... let's drop some ideas. I am always up for a charity ride. I went on a few last summer.

Excellent idea young chap.

Hey Bri,
Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. If you decide to go through Boston I might be able to help.

I have a way of getting involved with some locals cops in MA. A couple of them were traffic control on the witch hunt ride. The guys I talked to know some troopers as well, I'm not sure if the Troopers have a motorcycle division. I have a relative taking the police motorcycle course next month, so i'm sure he could recruit. Let me know if you want me to dig into this a bit more. I can throw something together for the next meeting, I just don't want to start putting in effort too soon, and have it wasted if noone can get motivated. Dealerships would be great sponsors, as well as a restaurant, and a radio station. These should all be reletively simple to obtain. This will be great for making contacts and leads for future events other than charity rides as well.

Thumbs up

Good luck in your quest! Noble idea
But it can also be a headache getting everything set up....have to think about various permits, various cities or towns approvals, as well as police escorts, plus funding which is major. Just be prepared it's not a walk in the park or a piece of cake. Again, hopefully this works out and you guys can get it off the ground, like your front or back tire.

just my

The husband of a woman my wife works with just openned a shop and is looking to get the word out that he is a decent guy. I bet we could get him to do some leg work as a shop/sponsor....

Brian or Teach, pm me or you both have my cell phone number, I think the shop is openning in either Nashua or Hollis...
