If all Boston sports teams are like men in relationships.. the Patriots are like the new boyfriend that you really like, he's awesome- perfect guy.. but in the past 2 weeks, you sorta suspect that something's up.. you've seen a side of him you didn't see before.. the Bruins are like the guy that you just casually date, you don't really care about him, just somethin to do.. the Celtics are like the marriage that was great at one time, but has lost its spark and you always kinda look back and think about how great it was.. and the Sox are the hardcore abusive husband who just absolutely beats you to a pulp day after day.. but you always go back to him cuz you love him.

actually Bri...there are lots of cases where men are the abused...spousal abuse is not one way...equal rights ....also meant equal right to beat the crap out of your husband. I have eye witnessed a man get his a$$ served to him by his wife....hell she was a big woman...I would run from her if I was him. But he kept crawling back and she'd hit him again....RULE #1 never get between spousal fighting...they can turn on ya in a heartbeat. So I distracted her with a big fat triple pounder cheeseburger and got him to safety...ok the cheeseburger think was inserted for humor effect.

The Sox just plain suck. Period. Every year they start off with a winning record. Then after the All-Star break, they somehow fall apart. Then we have the blame game at the end of the season. Last year they blamed Nomar. The year before that, they blamed management. I wonder who they'll blame this year. :p
