Re: Anyone ever try a choke block off?

Been wondering that myself. Saw it on their site. I NEVER use the choke on mine but haven't had it through the winter yet so not sure if I will need it or not. I wanna find out before I block it off tho! let us know how it does on the 110.

Did it on my XR50. Not a problem with starting, but I live in Florida. Also put in a 62 jet and drilled two 1/2 holes in the top part on air filter box. Made it more responsive on bottom end ( less bog).

Re: Anyone ever try a choke block off?

I ran it for 8 months or so on my 50.
I know it holds up.
The idea makes sense.

I got the air filter on it. Used a #85 main jet(from Honda-save some $$) but had to get the pilot thru TB. Holy crap does that thing suck some air.

I also have the TB bar kit on it and just ordered the polished stainless steel exhaust and muffler today(even after all of the problems We(me, a co-worker and one of our customers) have had with TB's stuff fitting on the 05's )

Also got white UFO plastics and the black TB graphics(front fender is b/o )

Next is a rear shock and front springs :YEAH

Re: Anyone ever try a choke block off?

rear shock sucks to swap out but the front is a joke...when you do the front use a heavier wt or a few more mil. of oil
