`rode with some guys from eccentricstuntbikes the other day. the guy had pulled out the dipstick to check the oil and it completely smelled like gasoline. what could cause that

 

Sticky carb float. Turn off the gas when you shut it off. Also a combination of a sticky float and wheelies will dump alot of gas down the carb. Have you noticed gas coming out of the overflow on the carb?

 

talking bout your fiddy, big bike what....be more clear brother...my bad just looked what forum it was....had to edit

 

donny noticed it. yes there was gas in the overflow and possibly a little oil. when ever im done riding i do turn the fuel off. and now i found out there was suppose to be nuts on the valve stems to stop the tube from slightly moving and causin a tear. now i have a hole in the rear tire. ryan, did you check out the pics i sent to www.eccentricksportbikes.com
