I wana try to make my own 12 bar...does anyone have any instructions on how to build my own or advice atleast....my freind has a welder so I guess it wont be too hard.....

 

fast and simple cheap way...

take off ur seat.... straighten out ur subframe with a pipe
slam two 1/4 to 3/8 solid steel bars in to both ends of the subframe
then weld a plate to the steel bars...

 

I agree with streightening the rear frame rails but I used 1/2 angle iron it is alot stronger and easier to weld and cut streight. You can also use hose clamps to afix it to the frame so no hole means it stronger.

Thanks..that sounds like a great idea robbie....wouldnt it fall off though if It wasnt bolted on it anyway?.....BTW I made a skidplate out of chrome dimond plate...it came out crooked and it bent when I went upstate in rocky trails so I threw it off to the side of my garage...

The baker bar isnt 39 dollers its like 100....thats just a attachment or sumthing....Im just gonna make my own or if my own doesnt work ill tell my mom to get it for me for chistmas...I cant spend any money cuz im saving for a sport bike....got almost 400 dollars...lol long ways to go but ill get there(im gettin a used one anyways for like 3500-4500 around there..)

yeah I just made a better one today it has 3 braces under the bottom instead of 2, works great.
