50's? they help out a lot just more power,

 

what do they help out for though power cant you just take out the baffle of the stock pipe and it will flow better it will give you the same ****

 

are you talkin about a fifty or a big bike

if you take out the baffles it will sound raspy or holo like. an after market pipe gives it less rstriction with a better flow,

 

People have proved it on dynos that pipes add no power to a stock 50 motor.

add a bore kit, cam, carb, airfilter, CDI. thats a differnt story.

adam.. i took the baffles out of my pipe. u heard it and rode it.. i think it may have made it a little more responsive.. but i lost a little low end torque.. i did gain a little top end power though.. it does make it louder.. i jetted my fiddy and opened up my airbox and got some of my torque back though.. still not quite as torquey as stock but it has hella more top end.. and i think a way better midrange.. hope this helps u out
