50 Knockoffs - $$ to make it worthwile
OK,
I've been contacted by one of those chineese exporters of the 50 knockoffs. Before there is a total bash of the all non-honda 50's, is there a price that would make them worth while to buy, even just to stunt or have as a second bike? Or is there no price that's worth owning a non-honda.
Here's the bike:
Same concept as the pocket bikes. We all know the $300 pocket bikes aren't as fast or good as the $3,000 Polini's or GRC's, but for $300, who cares?

Re: 50 Knockoffs - $$ to make it worthwile
First Off..........if It Looks Like The One In The Picture, I Would Be All Over That **** For About $300. If All Fails, Just Get A New Honda Motor And Mount That Hoe.
Second......i Have Already Seen Some Of These Fiddy Wannabies Out In The Market.........and They Dont Look Like The One You Have In The Picture. They Are Made Of A Blocky @$$ Frame, And The Tiny Pocketbike Motors................they Looked Good From Far......but Far From Good. It Didnt Look Like These Were Stuntable Or Trashable In Otherwords.
But Yes..........if They Look Excactly Like The One In That Picture, Then I Would Mind Getting It As A Second Bike For My Women, Or Lil Bro To Trash And Ride Arounds...........
One Q: 4 Stroke Of 2

Dimension(mm): 1440 x 770 x 960
Wheel base: 1065(mm)
Engline : Single cylinder ,4 stroke,
Air- cooling
Net Weight: 60 KG
Brake:Disc/Drum
Starter:Electric/Kick starting
Max speed(km/h): 65

I might get a few samples just to see what they are first hand. I too don't believe pictures that someone sends me from a foregin country.
I'll take one apart and see if honda hop up parts fit.

Re: 50 Knockoffs - $$ to make it worthwile
The one in the above pic is or looks like a Xtreme 107 which is about the best quality non honda out there. The ultra cheap knock offs don't look anything like the one pictured. I would find it hard to believe that even the cheapest of honda knock-offs goes for $300.
Re: 50 Knockoffs - $$ to make it worthwile
Believe me I'm just as much a sceptic.
I motarded with a xtreme 107. Erick from Attack of the 50's had one. He was literally pushing me (with his hand on my back) around the track with my 75CC kit.
I think they are heavy, which is no good for jumping, but might be OK (OK being the key word) to stunt or motard.

Re: 50 Knockoffs - $$ to make it worthwile
I can get a used honda 50 with big bars and a big bore kit and ****. there's no way I'd pay that for a knock off. Although the one pictured looks respecatble. I doubt it would have the durability or aftermarket parts of a honda... I'll stick with the used 800 dollar honda any day. but I don't have either so what do I know
