Just curious, those of you that got stunt pegs on your 50, what brand/model you using? Likes or dislikes? Walmart or BMX shop? Been looking at some pegs by Animal and a set of OG pegs by Kink. Either way they are gonna have to be drilled out. Just curious what hold up the best and what you like..

I wanna do stand ups etc and I also wanna put them on both front & back left side for some grinding action. That **** on 50 nutz was tight..

Bunch of us use Ron's setup he's got the sweet **** - strong too...

 

i just use one on the left side..... its small, and doesnt get in the way when turning... just drilled a hole and bolted it up....

 

If you want the 2 pegs on the axel, PM gixxerguy6, he sells the axels and the pegs.

But otherthen that my friend has the peg like Krusty has, and he just took one of his BMX bike. You could go to wal-mart and pick one up there too.

 

i bought a bmx peg from a local bike shop, and ran it through the axle. works great. but it depends if you want one peg or two, i just rock one. gotta cover that brake.

walmart...you don't feel so bad whenever you grind them down....also, if you parking lot race any, make sure you take it off before you get too crazy...it will drag

 

i got some mongoose pegs from wally world. they work for me i rock one peg and did a little grinding and drilling and was still able to rock the stock axle!!

 

cool, I was just curious. Doesn't really seem to matter much. I grabbed a set from the local bike shop. they were no names but seemed pretty pimp I only gave like $12 for them. I got one on the rear and I wanna put the other on the front but the front axle is just to short..

I grabbed a helmet too. I'v decided I need to wear a lid. Hell I never ever consider getting on the big bike without one required or not. Yet I get on the fifty and do the most ignorant **** I can on a motor with wheels and don't wear one.

Figured it would be in my best interest. I'm not as young as I once was and it appears I don't heal as fast as I used to either. I picked up a Pryme 8 helmet. Its pretty smooth and I got a good deal on it..

My helmet saved me when i broke my wrist, my face would have been so screwed if i didnt have it on. I heart my Helmet

 

Yea I got that I fuggin forgot all about that! I put it in a box somewhere! I will have to hunt for it when I get home!! thanks for reminding me hahah!!




The helmet I got is just a BMX/skate helmet. Doesn't guard my mug. At some point I will pick up a MX helmet I just don't have any extra $$ at the moment..
