I hate hand brakes, ther just like bmx pegs, all you can do is no skill stunts

try a clutch kit, then you could clutch it back down

I love my bike so much more with a clutch

 

how does that work

 

and how much is a clutch kit and do you have some links to a place that sells them

 

im sure if you ran a big enough sprocket you could get it down with engine braking...but i dont know if that would be worth losing the top end

anyone runnin a 40 tooth sproocket on the back and how does it feel to stock

 

just fyi....when ya'll are comparing who can bring these things back down..how long is your 12 bar???

 

mine makes the bike straight up i cant get it to come back down in 3rd switching to false nuetral and then lettin engine go down and goin back into 3rd i want to see vid of brenan doin it

 

I assumed he meant without a 12 bar.. with a 12bar its just a matter of hitting it hard enough

 

no way man i tried for hours tonight just stopped a few ago i cant get it to come back down even down shifting wont give it enough engine brake im not even sure if i can do it when i put the 40 tooth sprocket on it i think its gonna need a thumb or hand brake is the only way but if you know anyone that has done it i want to se vid

oops sorry man i meant while just doin a normal 12 scrape wont come back down with downshift or false nuetral back to 3rd

 

no you have to pund the rear brake after grind'n for however long....my 12 bar is about 3-4 inches past my rear fender and it's 4.5x2.5 the plate. i can park my highchairs but no way can i bring em back down except to the side ....lol. those are first gear by the way, too scared to park it in second, done it a few times but loop most of them....we did a stunt show today for a Chopper Shop i was 12'n spreaders & can-can's for like 20 feet then bringin em back down....it was fun as hell

nagz are you saying that if you hit the 12 bar hard enough it will go back down with stock motor and gearing stock or what and on teh spreaders how are you gettin it back down like you said you did without hand brake and stock gears on that right

 

Well SPREAD or CAN-CAN while scrapin' and then put feet back on pegs and hammer the rear brake lever and walllla bring em back down and ride off.....

 

i know you were doin them like that i thought you meant engine brake could get them back down or somethign like that
