ohio street riding?????

I live in ohio and was thinking of buying a fiddy. Can u drive them on the road if they r under 50cc. In some states I know u can. What about Ohio.
P.S. Is it hard to shift one those things?????

I dont think they are really legal in ohio, since they dont have lights. There are kits available to put lights on them however, and you will have to get them tagged like a moped.

We just ride them, noone has said anything.... YET.

I know Five-O is a cop from Columbus, he probably knows the law a lot better then I do.

Yeah they are REAL hard to shift....see on ohio models, they put the shifter on the right footpeg and the brake o the left. also, the clutch is now the front brake handle.....crazy design...... . As far as street legal, havent u seen them on the highways clutching up third????

Yeah...its nuts here in ohio with restrictions......the cops out here carry metal detectors in their squad cars to make sure you are wearing steel toed boots....

I think you need to worry more about the drug dogs then the metal detectors.
