good deal?

http://www.motoworldracing.com/applied_xr50suspkit.html

This is a set of fork springs and a rear spring. APplied i think, for 60 bucks. Do you think this will be good for wheelies and stoppies or should i get a better set. Im tight on money so for 60 bucks is it worth it. If anyone has these and lets me know how they are it would be appreciated. It seems alright. Thanks

Re: good deal?

Sounds like a good deal. I havent got any springs for mine yet but i heard the rear will make it easier to wheelie a little bit cause it wont be so spongy and bottom out. Imnot positive but i think you have to get bushings if you change the front ones because of fork slop.

Re: good deal?

These bikes stock are only suppose to hold 80 pounds. So if I were you I would put them on the front and rear.

Re: good deal?

From what I have seen the stock bushing move alot with the stock springs. If you add stiff springs I would imagine that fork slop would be HUGE!!! I am about to pick up Delrin fork bushings from xtremeracing50s.com now. I installed my springs earlier today and just waiting to get the bushings to finish it all off. Then ride the **** out of it tommorow night!!

Re: good deal?

I dont think springs help you wheelie...Big bars help alot though...so if u dont jump just get big bars instead of springs...

Re: good deal?

if you go Applied it takes a while of really jumping it to break in the front Applied springs. they will be really stiff at first and if you dont jump it to break them in they will stay super stiff.
