finally got highchairs

well since jason is out of jail he wanted to ride a 50 bad to get his mind off things so we go out and ride. We set a goal that neither of us can leave unless we learn at least 1-2 new tricks. So jason who already learned chairs told me to grow some ***** and try em ..

well after about 10mins .. i have highchairs :YEAH

much props goes out to my boy jason for pushing me to the limit .. last night he learned 1 hand no footer wheelie and I have a new wheelie name pending .. but its hilarious jason is too scared to try it ..

im out !

Re: finally got highchairs

Congrats!
Highchairs are fun! I can do some wimpy highchairs for about 10-15 yards on a good one. They come up easier then I thought they would, but they feel weird! I havent really worked up the guts to try them in the street yet.

Re: finally got highchairs

I just throw my legs up, and sit back on the seat as far as I can. Then its pretty much like a wheelie, gas and tug. Im still learning them, but thats what I was doing.

Re: finally got highchairs

do you start out in the highchair position, or do you ride, then switch?

Re: finally got highchairs

I had some pimpin bruises on the back of my calves from trying them all day long. I put my feet over the bars and rode around like that for a while just to get the feeling of it.

Re: finally got highchairs

To get into the highchair position, I threw one leg up at a time while riding.

Re: finally got highchairs

heres the best way i have found to do some long *** highchairs that look sweet as hell...

ride along in 1st gear with both feet over the bars, keeping yer knees bent DIRECTLY over the cross bar. my *** is usually right up against the tank. now, u guys with big bores should be able to just roll the throttle and ride em out. us stockers arent as fortunate. for stock engines, sort of lift one of you legs up towards the sky while u are gassing it and pulling back. throwing your leg will help transfer the weight back and hopefully lift the front wheel. both of my legs are off the bars and in the air before i even hit the balance point. from there its easy. if u can ride a long sit down in 1st, u should be able to balance these also. if u feel like u are drifting to one side, just move yer legs to the other side to straighten it out. the hard part is getting over the fear of cracking yer skull.

ya what fab said .. right now since i get leg crams trying to throw my legs up big time like your avatar i still have my legs on the bar when im doing mine. after a few weeks of stretching hopefully ill be able to go big with em ..

ya the falling part is what gets lot of people cause you think if i fall there is nothing to save me which is true , but granted i didnt attempt to try these til i was confident in my wheels w/o brakes like spreaders

but like all my brakeless tricks im bound to fall one day, last night i looped a 2nd gear pinned seat stander which i normally have for days. it wasnt fun watching my 50 slide across the pavement .. gl out there trying spreaders
