Loose Steering Head

I'm running the BBR bar kit with the gold top clamp. And everytime it will knock my bar alignment outta wack whenever I do a stoppie. All I have to do is just crank 'em back, but it gets annoying. I'm wondering if it's my bar clamps that bolt to the top clamp that are twisting. Any idea?

Re: Loose Steering Head

i got the fast 50's and they were doing that till i really put the squeeze on em. if that clamp is like mine where its got 4 allen bolts with nuts on the end, then crank them bitches down hard, could replace the bolts with stronger ones so you dont break em.

also, if the knurled part is stripped, they wont hold as well.

Re: Loose Steering Head

Do you mean the bars are mis-aligned with the front wheel, or the bars are sliding forward in the clamp?

Sorry I didn't specify. The bars miss-aligned in the clamp. If you look at the bars relative to the wheel, it is all ****-eyed. I think I cranked down the bolts once alredy but they might have loosened up again.
