It's time to break down the 50 to make it 88cc

Well, the engine is sitting on my work bench and the rolling chassis is in the corner.

I wonder how long it will take for me to figure everything out, it's my first time.

I have most of the information I need, well I hope I do. I am installing a head, cylinder, piston, carb, etc..... It's going to be interesting!!!

Wish me luck!

This round:

88cc kit with race head
20mm carb
manual clutch
kitaco rev box
15/35 w/ renthal chain
dunlop tt91 gp tires

Next round:

Stroker crank - either the one from Dratv or the one classic honda sells
2 or 2.5 inch extended swingarm - can't decide on which one

Xmas time::::need to save my lunch money::::::
5 speed tranny... $600+ OUCH!!!

Cool. Which clutch do you have? I bought the one the TB one. Thought I would try out the $155 clutch before spending $500+ on a race one.

I am using the TB race head 88cc kit. On my sons 50 we have the kitaco 88cc kit. I want to compare the two. The kitaco kit was 2x as expensive.

I bought the manual clutch kit off dratv...I believe it is the old ct70 style..with the cables, lever and extra clutch discs (stock) it cost me about 200 bucks and was cake to install

http://www.dratv.com/clutch2disk.html

You didn't list it but I hope you have an upgraded oil pump as well...
