Do I Need This?

As soon as my motard club gets it's act together, I'm gonna race the fiddy. I was thinking about getting a race cam (now i have a touring) and a hotter firing coil from Classic Honda http://www.hondaminitrail.com/. My question is, would the race cam have any effect over the touring cam, and is a hotter coil worth it (thumper coil maybe )?

Re: Do I Need This?

depends on your set up like .... bore, head, carb

you could just go up 1 or 2 in the front and get more top speed for less $$$$

Re: Do I Need This?

to get the most power get a 70cc head and a 88 dome piston with the right piston pin hight

you wil love it you could pick one up for the same price as the cam you wanted to buy

Re: Do I Need This?

try the TrailBikes head kit that comes with the correct piston and a cam, and before you install it go ahead and clean up the ports a little
