Black frame?

I just got a fiddy - 03. Hit some mud and dirt on the maiden voyage so I decided to strip it down and clean it. Well I figured since I had all the plastics off and the rear wheel that I would paint the frame black.

Going for a flat black. Havn't put it together yet. I don't have any pictures of the painted frame/swingarm yet. Completed pics comin soon.

These pictures are of the bike stripped down. The frame and swingarm has been sanded and cleaned.

Re: Black frame?

While you have it apart you might as well get some high temp paint and go ahead and paint the motor too.

Re: Black frame?

It's almost complete.

Once this rain goes away i'll be ready to pimp the new black frame.

I moved the key too.

heh I could of done that but I figured i'd take my time. It's been raining so i'm not missing out on any riding time.

I'm happy with the results - it looks kick *** and if I didn't paint it myself I would have thought it was powdercoated
