bought a cheap 50cc minisport bike from pep boys and well i got a ?

got a mini sport bike 50cc from pep boys. someone mentioned if i take off the governor it will go faster/ where is this locted and if i do take this off what things i should be aware of or becarefull do i don't fry the engine. btw it's a 2 stroke engine

Was it one of those mini sport bikes for $400?

Those things are PIMP! They got disc brakes, 43cc 2 stroke, 30MPH top speed and they look good. I was thinkin of gettin one for laughs since they're mad cheap.

yep that's the one. but i furred mine out with white leopard. it goes 30mph but i wanna get it to go faster anyone know how? btw it's a 49cc not 43

they are made by Cagllari....in china. They say 49cc but they really are a 39cc....they are crap!

this is what i was getting at, and that's why i was wondering how much he wasted on it. and my fiddy goes 40mph so i don't see what the point is, there's not a lot you can do with'em (except break it). my buddy has a quality italian pocketbike (grc midi) that'll do 60mph, but they get old pretty quick... and he paid over $2K for that thing.

what he said.....if you want it to go faster, you can always change the rear sprocket and the pinion...you would want to tune the engine also....but good luck trying to find any parts for that thing.....

lol one day i will but for now this must do. i geuss nothing can be done to make it faster beside sproket changing
