Handlebar Kits

Do the Fast50's handlebar kit come with extended break cables? Also what company makes good handlebar kits besides BBR and Fast50's? (my friend has one)

Re: Handlebar Kits

i have a fast50's on my 88cc & dont like it at all, i have a 2bro's on my crf50 & like it much more. The fast 50's kit came on the bike & i'm currently looking to swap it out w/ either BBR, sik50's, or another 2bro's - it just doesnt seem tall enough for me & the cables barely have enough length

I have the fast 50s set up on my street 50 and its worked well so far. the billet throttle that it comes with has a buit in brake perch.

I have a buddy who has the full sano set up with throttle on his and i have to say that the sano throttle is hand down the best billet throttle i have ever seen. i just ordered one for my dirt jumper.

If mony is no objet i would say jet a 5 five O clamp http://www.motoworldracing.com/fiveo...lerclamps.html
try and find one on ebay.

then go to your local BMX shop and pick out the bars you like. I suggest finding one with a low brace. makes highchairs easyer.

then order yourself a sano throttle, and a 2+inch cable.
http://www.motoworldracing.com/sano_04_throttle.html

and match it up with a hand brake.
http://www.motoworldracing.com/rb_04...erchlever.html

again thats if money isnt a problem for you. there is much cheeper ways to go.

Ya what ever brake lever. ive never used the BBR i was just guessing that it was one that worked well.

Hey on a side note Nags I tried putting that unbreakable lever from my KTM on to my street 50 and it didn’t work with my fast 50s brake perch. It was too beefy. From looking at it a little further I think I might be able to replace the lever that came with my Sano hydraulic brake system that I have on my dirt jumper. I hope it will fit there. Don’t want to waste it because I’m parking out my KTM.

2 reasons.
One on my fast 50s throttle with integrated perch. the perch would be in the way and i would have to rotate my throttle tube to make it so its out of the way thus putting my throttle cable in a weird spot.

two on my dirt jumper it looks like it is the exact same width and i think i would rather use it there anyhow. i think it might be getting a little more abuse on the jumper.

Will see. ill make it fit somewhere.

Re: Handlebar Kits

The sano bar kit is nice because the top is all one peice so if you fall over you bars don't get tweaked and end up crooked like the BBR does. Another good set is one that pro-taper just came out with. They both retail for like $229 I think. I'd go with SANO because it comes with the billet throttle.

Re: Handlebar Kits

BBR is good for the basic rider, but like others said the throttle will get messed and the bars bend easy. I cracked my throttle housing when i installed the thing. It was loose, 1/8 of a turn more and the **** cracks. And I'm sure you prolly remember when you came over in that snowstorm and my back tire slipped out while I was ridin a wheelie down the road. The thing fliped back on the bars and they got all crooked. If ya don't crash, they'll prolly be fine. Otherwise go with Sano.

Re: Handlebar Kits

I got my red baron MX bar kit off ebay for 165 i think. The brake lever broke, but if you keep it loose it should last a while.

No SANO runs the same price as the BBR, and the PRO Taper. I think the generela price for any bar kit now with bars, throttle, lever, and cabels is $229. But I am getting rid of my BBR bars here pretty soon and going with the SANO set up myself.
