Ok, so I have a 2003 xr50 with crf plastic, a big bar kit, FMF pipe, fork springs, rear spring, new tires, and it has had like 6 tanks of gas through it.
This weekend, I rode a buddys klx 110 for a few hours and it was SWEET! Way more power and more comfortable.
My question is...
Why go with a 50? I mean other than the fact that they are cheaper, is there another reason. Like bang for buck, it seems like the 110 is a better way to go. Keep in mind I don't want to spend big $$$ to pump up the 50 or the 110.
Before I list my 50 for sale and buy a 110, is there a reason not to that I don't know about?
Don't get me wrong, the 50 is WAY fun but...the 110 is too.

 

i think its because everyone else has one...110s are cool but fiddys are the smallest bike possible thats why i like them....

 

because it's not a honda is going to be the offical tag line of everyone on here that doesn't know why they bought one except to feel cool and fit in.

i think your alot less likely to get harassed on a fifty... Cops used to roll to my house at least once a week. Never got a ticket.. Now the neighbors are just used to it.. or used to this

 

here in massachusetts we put lights on em and register them as mopeds and we ride all the time rockin the streets. plus why own a kawisucky when you could own a honda

 

Cause Kawasaki is the best? There motors are certainly better than honda.

 

Ya right dude, honda motors are bullet proof, i've seen them take the nastiest beating and keep on chugging. a little preventative maintance and they'll last forever fosho

the honda motor has been around since the earliy seventies and the thing is bulletproof...

hell i ran mine out of oil in a race and i locked it up.. all i did is add oil fix the vent pipe were it leaked from and it started right up and ran the rest of the season with it.

took it apart this season all i needed to do was chance rocker arms and new rings and hone the jug..

but why do that when you can just blow your brains out and buy a super head with more than you'll ever need power...
