XR50 Rims

I'm a NC Programmer at a machine shop and have unlimited access to CNC equipment. I'm thinking of manufacturing XR50 Billet aluminum wheels. I was just wondering if you all think this is something that would sell well. I haven't seen alot these on the web, and I can customize them, because I'm the programmer designer. These would be spokeless rims made from Aluminum, although they may add alittle weight they would be much stronger. If anyone has a front & rear rim that I could use to get all dimensions from please I.M me, I'll pay for shipping and return shipping. These can be bent rims, I'm just using them to get bore diameters, widths etc... Let me know what you guys think. thanks...

Re: XR50 Rims

When you make your design keep strength in mind. I got the fast 50s billet rims and there pretty much indestructible. They allow me to treat curbs like jumps and just bang off them as fast and as hard as I like. Well worth it.

Yea, My buddy has a 2003 he's bringing over this weekend so I can reverse engineer them, I'll start designing in my CAD/CAM system after I get all dimensions. Looks like there is a interest these, so I'm going for it, Is there a demand for a larger rim on these bikes? Looks like there is clearance in the front but I'll look at the rear, I don't own a 50 myself but I'll investigate my buddies this weekend. Also, would a disc brake on the front be something you all are looking for ? that drum setup sucks...:YEAH
